Vaessen-Schoemaker is an independent, family owned company with headquarters in Deventer, Holland, which started in 1946. In the 1950's, it patended the use of polyphosphates in cooked meat products. These patents resulted into a network of international licenses and distributors.
Since those early days, the company's activities expanded in many different, entrepreneurial directions. Vaessen-Schoemaker's manufacturing portfolio has included diversities such as rotational moulding, surf boards, artificial and natural (laminated) casings, vacuum packaging equipment, printing and functional food additives.
